Cuban posters are finally getting very popular and I see a large increase in serious collectors. Two years ago cuban posters were a rarity on ebay and were bought mostly by educators and very specialized galleries ,therefore prices were huge. I remember a gallery with $1000 tags on posters that now sell for less than $30. Back then you could go to Cuba and buy posters for $1 right and left ,but now cubans know the value of posters and the fact that supply is limited (the government is only reprinting), their prices are increasing rapidly. Collectors prices will skyrocket even more when the communist system changes its course,eventually. These factors leave a very healthy road for the popularity and investment value of collecting cuban posters.

...but we don't have enough books and the few that were printed were very limited editions. Many collectors write to me every week asking the same question: Where can I buy books about cuban posters? Is my poster featured in any of the books? because if you have a painting and it gets published in a book or catalog it increases its popularity and value.The same happens with posters. "Soy Cuba" and "Lucia" are 2 reprinted posters that always sell well, not only for their estetic value but also because the images were published many times.

The books on this page are out of print and I thought it would be a good idea to give collectors the opportunity to check if their posters had been published. These are the ones I have but if you know any other source please let me know so we can share with other people.
